Members can attend up to 4 sessions of two hours, totaling 8 hours of monthly STEM activities.
Real Badges
Like Scouts, every month is a new activity with the opportunity to earn a new physical badge.
3 Hour Game Party
Every month, we meet and play video games at a social event at DiVRgence of Huntsville!
Paid Software
Part of the cost includes software that members own from here on to practice and play.
What do we learn every month?
What will my member learn?
- STEM/STEAM skills through game design activities
- Online curriculum with badges to track progress
- Confidence, collaboration, critique, computer skills
What is the age limit?
- 10-18 years old. 8-9 can join but may find some activities challenging.
What is the cost?
- $195/month. Additional members from same family are discounted.
What do they need to bring?
- Laptop with Windows OS, mouse, and headphones
When can they come?
- Up to 4 sessions/month, 2 hours each session
- Sessions available M/T/Th in Huntsville, T/Th in Athens
How is progress measured?
- Badges and levels on website
- Physical badges awarded in-person
Behavior expectations:
- Come to learn and have fun without disrupting others
- Good behavior required to come to Network Party
